Mary Jo Stiegemeier, O.D.,F.A.A.O.
Dr. Stiegemeier has been in practice for over 25 years in Beachwood where she specializes in primary care and contact lens fitting. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry where she earned the Bausch and Lomb Contact Lens Award. Dr. Stiegemeier was also presented with a Distinguished Teaching Award from Mt. Sinai Hospital in Cleveland. Dr. Stiegemeier has lectured extensively on the topic of contact lenses, has done numerous clinical studies and pre-market tests, as well as research in the area of contact lenses. She has authored and co-authored several scientific publications and abstracts. |
Haley Unkefer-Duhaime, O.D.
Dr. Unkefer is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Unkefer practices family vision care including contact lenses, pediatric evaluations and ocular disease management. Dr. Unkefer is currently accepting new patients. |
Alecia Palmer, O.D.Dr. Palmer is a 1998 graduate of Indiana School of optometry. She has been practicing optometry for over 8 years. She has interests in contact lenses and primary care. |
Jessica Simon, O.D.,F.A.A.O.We’re delighted to welcome Dr. Jessica Simon to our Western Reserve Vision Care family. Dr. Simon is a 2003 graduate of The Ohio State College of Optometry and has been in practice for 4 years in Northeast Ohio. Dr Simon brings with her a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for her work. We ask everyone to join us in welcoming her to our growing practice . Dr Simon’s practice is open to new and established patients alike, in both our Beachwood and Hudson offices. |
Bianca Kostranchuk, O.D.
Dr. Bianca Kostranchuk, or “Dr. K,” is the most recent addition to Western Reserve Vision Care. Dr. K grew up in Highland Heights and Kirtland Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at John Carroll University. After her undergraduate degree, she married. Her and her husband, CJ, moved to Columbus for her to complete her doctorate degree at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. After school, she and her husband purchased a home in Chardon, where they now reside with their two dogs George and Sophia. She and her husband enjoy traveling with their most recent trip being to Hawaii. While Dr. K practices family optometry, she particularly enjoys working with pediatrics and special needs patients, as well as those patients with binocular vision and perceptual disorders.

Michele K. OpticianMichele K. has been an exceptional and dedicated licensed optician for over 25 years. Her knowledge of high fashion eye wear has given her a following of dedicated and happy patients. |
Michelle K. Certified Ophthalmic AssistantMichelle has been an extraordinary technician for Dr. Stiegemeier for 20 years. She is a highly skilled, trained and caring individual. She performs many ancillary tests during your examination and co-ordinates numerous contact lens studies. She also supervises our technical staff and our contact lens department. We are especially proud to have her on our team. |
Brittany Stiegemeier, Office ManagerBrittany has been with Western Reserve Vision Care for 5 years. She has a Master's Degree in Adminstration Management from The University of Akron. Brittany works in our Hudson location and is always happy to assist patients with insurance questions or any billing needs. |
